An Intelligent Solution for Intelligence Solutions Provider

The Internet Retailing show is a huge date on the E-Commerce calendar, and Guardian Display are pleased to announce that they will be constructing the stand for E-Commerce intelligence solution provider; Ometria.  After discussions and meetings at the client’s offices in Central London, Ometria commissioned Guardian Display to produce a custom modular exhibition stand for their 6X2.5 space at the NEC in Birmingham.
Now in pre-build, the Versaform Build structure will be used to create the infrastructure for the stand, whilst our premium, semi-rigid graphic panels will provide the client with a seamless graphic backdrop, completely hiding the aluminium framework. The centre-piece of the stand will undoubtedly be the extravagant 50” LCD TV screen that will play Ometria’s rolling video presentation.
Whilst a TV of that size is normally too large to be supported by an aluminium framework, Guardian Display always goes the extra mile in order to find a solution. In the spirit of our philosophy, we provided the client with two support posts that would stabilise the screen. We did this without compromising the design of the stand, whilst making sure everything was 100% safe for the show. Another notable component of the stand is the LED lighted slat-wall shelving unit, which can support products and brochures whilst giving the display an ultra-professional look, which can even be used as its own standalone display.
The client has chosen to hire the framework and purchase the graphic panels, which means that we will be able to resurrect the stand at a future event (in its current form or even in a different design) for a minimal cost. The Versaform Build system’s modular framework is completely tool-free, allowing the stand to be built by two of our Build Technicians in less than two hours. This means that there isn’t any extortionate re-installation fees that are commonplace among standard custom build companies.
On top of that, we will store all of the client’s graphics at our facility, so that they don’t have to worry about a thing, and can simply call us when they need the stand reinstalled without any fuss or hassle, in the knowledge they will get the same quality every time we install it. The stand will always be pre-built before installation in order to avoid any nightmares, another integral service which is unavailable with a bespoke build.
Finally, the system can be built upon further for future shows, allowing the client infinite possibilities and infinite designs with a solution that can be reconfigured and adapted to fit any exhibition space. The possibilities really are endless with our Versaform systems, and Ometria are just one of the many companies we have supplied that will now reap the benefits of using the most versatile exhibition systems in the world.
Now that, is an intelligent solution.

To Penrith and Back in a Week

It’s been a busy week for the Guardian Display team, as our already rapid turnaround times were put to another stern test. Laing O’Rourke approached us with an urgent requirement on Monday

10th March for a five-module Versaform Flex display system, which they needed for their tight 3m x 1m space at the Westinghouse Electric Company Industry Day all the way up in Penrith, Cumbria- over three-hundred miles away from our showroom in Essex.

By Thursday 6th March we had received print-ready artwork from the Laing O’Rourke design team and were ready to begin production. We supplied them with new framework and graphic panels, but reused their existing television screen, HD unit and wireless headphones; we also integrated a new corporate video into the HD unit on behalf of the client.

One of Guardian Display’s dedicated Build Technicians, Wayne Seal, took the trip up the M6 to have the stand installed and ready to go on the morning of Monday 10th March. After the show, Wayne removed the stand from the Rheged Centre and took the stand back to our facility in Leigh-On-Sea. It was a long and scenic journey, but it resulted in another truly impressive turnaround and a very happy client.

From the receipt of print-ready artwork, all the way through to a fully installed exhibition system took the Guardian Display team only two working days to complete- despite the venue being more than a five hour car journey away from our facility. Three of the five modules of Laing O’Rourke’s new system are now back in our Pre-Build zone and ready to be delivered to Glasgow for another
show on Friday 21st March, which the client will install themselves.

We pride ourselves on responding quickly to clients, producing high-quality displays and providing a complete and professional service, whether you need a display for next week or next month, we will make sure the stand is delivered on time, installed without error and produced to meet your exact specifications.
